I'm Stuck

No time for a long post, but I came to the realization today that I'm stuck in 2006. Whenever someone says, "Oh that movie is from 2000," I think it was 5 or 6 years ago. It's over 8 years now... 8 years since Y2K, 7 years since 9/11 and Jocelynn's accident, 6 years since freshman year of high school and "To Kill a Mockingbird" with Mrs. O, 5 years since I started dating Nick and had Mr. Kirvin for Social Studies, 4 years since we met Mr. Fredericksen and squeaked through AP History, 3 years since NHS Lounge lunches, 2 years since I started dating Steven (4/29 will be our anniversary), and a year since I went to San Francisco for Spring Break to visit Julia.
Time is flying... and I'm stuck in 2006.

I feel the same way, Am! I always tell people my brother is 26-years-old, and two days ago my dad called me to remind me that it was Jeremy's 28th birthday. That means for two years I've been saying he's still 26.
We're getting old; maybe we're having a quarter-life crisis?

Me Too! About two minutes ago I was citing this book that was published in 2005 and thought to myself, "Wow this book is brand new!" Since all the other books I was looking at were from the 1950's. Then I realized its 2008. ahh.. and esp with all the things that seem to be coming back to me latley.. which I need to STILL fill you in on.. saying that "Yeah when we dated TWO YEARS ago and then didn't soeak for afterwards for TWO YEARS?!" I still can't believe it. A lot (two words... PJ<3) happens in two years. Tonya might be right, quarter-life crisis? ... isn't that in a John Mayer song?
